Audit and energy saving
The cheapest kilowatt-hour is the one you don’t need. A thermal camera, circuit-level metering and simply replacing appliances often give more than the first panel.
How it works
An audit starts with the meter: how much is used and when. In winter a thermal camera shows where the heat escapes — windows, corners, roof, floor. Circuit-level metering finds the hidden consumers: an old fridge, a water heater, electric heating, pumps.
Measures in order: sealing and insulation, LEDs, inverter appliances, timers and weather compensation for the boiler, a lower flow temperature. After them the system and the heat pump can be smaller — and cost less.
A system sized on the bill before the savings comes out bigger than needed. That is why every AbsoEnergy project starts with a consumption review.

Winter is long: insulation and heating controls pay off every year. Thermal imaging is done in winter.
Vietnam relevant
Cooling comes first: shade, a light-coloured roof, inverter air conditioners (from 5.79 million ₫ for 1 HP), sealing. Every kWh over 700 a month costs 3,844 ₫ plus VAT.

- Always — before a solar system and a heat pump
- High bills with no clear reason
- Cold rooms, damp, condensation

- The house is due for a major renovation soon — decide about the house first

Heat pumps
A heat pump moves heat from the air or the ground into the house: 3–4 kWh of heat per 1 kWh of electricity over a season. It pays off where homes are heated with electricity, LPG or diesel.
Smart energy management
