AbsoEnergy · your own energy
Your own energy — honestly calculated.
Solar, batteries, heat pumps, EV chargers and backup power for a home, dacha, café or farm in Russia and Vietnam. First a calculation on open sun data and your tariffs, then supply and installation — if the numbers add up.
- Supply and installation in Russia and Vietnam
- Sun data for 30 cities — from PVGIS
- Every price has a source and a date
- One request, one answer — we never sell contacts
A model of the average day of this month for a typical home: 6 kW of panels, a 10 kWh battery, about 7,000 kWh a year. Sun — PVGIS for the city, time — local. These are not meter readings. How we calculate
Calculate in a minute
Four calculations in your browser — no sign-up, no contact details. The result is a range, not a single number: the sun and prices really do vary.
Solar power system
How many kW of panels your consumption needs in your city, and what they give month by month and hour by hour.
Calculate your systemBackup for outages
Which battery and inverter keep the boiler, fridge, pump and internet going for as many hours as you need.
Calculate your backupHeat pump
The size for your floor area and insulation, heat over a year and a comparison with gas and an electric boiler.
Calculate your heat pumpPayback
How much a system saves on Russian and Vietnamese tariffs and when it earns its money back.
Calculate your paybackTechnologies
Twelve technologies: how they work, what they cost and which of them make sense in Russia and Vietnam — with photos and sources.

Solar panels
Modules on a roof, a façade or the ground turn light into electricity. The cheapest new electricity in the world — but only by day and with big seasonal swings.

Battery storage
LFP batteries store the daytime sun for the evening and keep the house running during outages. Packs have fallen to $70 per kWh, but a turnkey system is still expensive.

Heat pumps
A heat pump moves heat from the air or the ground into the house: 3–4 kWh of heat per 1 kWh of electricity over a season. It pays off where homes are heated with electricity, LPG or diesel.

Solar water heaters
Evacuated tubes or a flat collector heat water directly with the sun. Simple technology: a square metre of roof gives 2–3 times more heat than a square metre of panels gives electricity.

EV charging
A 7–22 kW wallbox charges the car at home overnight, and with solar and smart control — on the daytime surplus.

Generators and backup
A generator keeps a house running for as long as there is fuel. Best of all paired with a battery: the generator runs less often and under load.
Typical solutions
A flat, a house, a dacha, a café, a farm, a villa in Vietnam and an off-grid property — each calculated with the same model as the calculators.

- Household tariffs from 01.10.2026 for 16 cities
- No personal income tax on surplus sales until 01.01.2029
Vietnam
- Since 26.06.2026 — selling up to 50% of output

- Hanoi and Bac Ninh pay up to 6 million ₫
How we work
From request to service in eight steps. The price and the kit are fixed in the estimate before work starts.
- RequestWebsite, email or phone; you can attach a calculation.
- ReviewBills, loads, outages, goals — within two working days.
- Site surveyA visit or a video call: the roof, the switchboard, the grid connection, a place for the battery.
- Design and estimateThe kit, the diagram, the price and the timing; the price is fixed in the estimate.
- SupplyEquipment with certificates and the manufacturer’s warranty.
- InstallationTo the design, with a power-cut test and a briefing.
- ConnectionNotices, the contract with the grid, the meter — where needed.

Questions
How much does a home solar system cost?
It depends on the country and the kit. Benchmarks as of 02.11.2026 are on the technology pages and in the calculators, with a source and a date. The exact price comes in the estimate, after we look at your consumption, roof and switchboard.
Will the system pay off?
Calculate it: the payback calculator takes your city’s tariff and the sun from PVGIS. In Russia, with low tariffs, payback is long; in Vietnam it is shorter: EVN’s expensive upper tiers and plenty of sun. If something does not pay off, we say so.
Will I have power during a grid outage?
Only with a battery, a hybrid inverter and an automatic grid-disconnect switch. An ordinary grid-tied system shuts down in an outage — safety rules for line workers require it.
Can I sell the surplus?
In Russia — under the microgeneration rules: since 26.09.2026 a home can feed up to 50 kW into the grid, a business up to 150 kW; the guaranteeing supplier (the regional retail supplier) pays the wholesale price, about 3–3.6 ₽ per kWh in the European part, with no personal income tax on it until 2029. In Vietnam — up to 50% of output at 844.8 ₫ per kWh in 2026. In both countries it pays more to use the sun yourself.
Heat pump or gas?
If cheap mains gas is connected to the house, a heat pump usually does not pay off. If there is no gas — an electric boiler, LPG or diesel — a heat pump spends 3–4 times less on heat. The calculator compares them for your city.
Business, café, farm?
Yes: cafés, shops, hotels, farms, workshops. They use a lot of power during the day and use it at once, so solar pays off faster, and in Vietnam a battery covers the expensive evening peak of 17:30–22:30.
What happens to my request?
The AbsoEnergy team reads it, gets in touch the way you prefer, clarifies the task and offers a site survey. We do not sell your request or send it round to contractors; a contractor gets it only with your separate consent.
Where is the request data stored?
On a server in Moscow. The notification about a new request contains only its number and type. The site has no cookies or trackers, and the calculators run in your browser.
Why is the result a range?
The sun varies from year to year by about ±5%, databases differ by a few more per cent, and installer prices by tens of per cent. A single number would look more precise than it really is.
Can a foreigner in Vietnam get a system?
A tenant can order the installation too, but the notice to the People’s Committee is filed in the name of the EVN account holder — usually the owner — or under their power of attorney. The owner’s written consent to work on the roof is needed as well.
Request for supply and installation
Russia or Vietnam, one technology or the whole system. We reply in working hours, usually within two working days.
